Visualising Malaysian Covid Trends

Why 7 day rolling data? When looking at data related to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic/endemic, it is important to take into account the daily fluctuations that occur due to changes such as weekends and holidays. While it may be tempting to compare single-day data and extrapolate conclusions, doing so will likely lead to misrepresentation. While 7-day rolling averages arent perfect, as one week may differ to the next (public holidays, major events etc), it provides a far clearer picture of the trends that are occuring in Malaysia.
